1/30/00 -- MESSAGE FROM JOHN TO HIS FANS IN RESPONSE TO THE 1/29/00 STATEMENT FROM THE PRODUCERS OF THE IRISH TENORS AND PBS

"Anthony Kearns possesses one of the most superior operatic voices I have ever heard. His spectacular abilities will propel him to greatness, I am sure. Ronan Tynan is a man of great warmth and humor and his spirit and sensitivity are as infectious as his magnificent voice. PBS has been tremendously supportive of the three of us - their constant backing made the show the success it was in 1999, and I am confident that the new show will also be a great success.

I have been reading the comments made in the guest book on my web site and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support. I would like us all to remember something that my father once said, 'The hurdles of life are tough enough, letís not add any unnecessary ones.' I ask all of you to give your continued support to Ronan, Anthony and PBS going forward and I will do the same."
